DinnerGrrls.org strives to connect young professional women working to develop and expand their inter-industry knowledge base. Grrls share what they’re up to, what their industry is all about, and what their professional aspirations are. The Grrls also collaborate on creative exercises to broaden individual career objectives. Guest speakers visit to share their own career development path and offer advice to their younger sisters. Anyone who has been employed full-time for at least one year after college is welcome to be a Grrl. All guest speakers are female professionals who are established in their fields and comfortable with the notion of being a mentor for an evening.
Click here to join the DinnerGrrls discussion group today! Current undergraduates are also welcome to join the discussion group – the DinnerGrrls launched their telementee program in January 2002 in conjuction with National Mentoring Month.
DinnerGrrls.org has chapters in various stages of development in New York City, Los Angeles, Boston, Colorado, and Hong Kong. We’re actively seeking volunteers to head up chapters all over the planet!
Whether you’d like to be a DinnerGrrl, a DinnerGuest, a mentee or would like to start a DinnerGrrls in your own area, contact: Anittah Patrick.
