I am a big big fan of the television show Shark Tank, a show on ABC where entrepreneurs pitch their product to investors in hopes of getting some cold, hard cash.

There are seven tips that entrepreneurs can learn from watching the show, according to Amy Reinink’s “Real-Life Lessons From Shark Tank” at Entrepreneur.com:

  1. Nail your elevator pitch
  2. Know your numbers
  3. Know when to pitch
  4. Be realistic
  5. Listen
  6. Solve a problem
  7. Be prepared for a long haul
